ABOUT ME

Hello! Hola! Ciao! Bonjour! Salut!

My name is Maria. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Legazpi. I have been painting for over 15 years and have been a trained instructor to many happy students, ages 9 to 79. I also paint on rocks; I make silk scarves and wall hangings; I love making clay beads, bracelets and earrings, party favors and all sorts of paper crafts.

I moved to Chicago 21 years ago and I’ve been here since - hmm... well, when I'm not out to see the rest of the world! I have been to 20 countries and counting, flown a plane and even jumped out of one! Not while flying it, of course.
